Water Valve Repair on June 3rd at Pasadena Rd and Hollywood Rd S

The water main at Pasadena Rd and Hollywood Rd S, is scheduled to be shut off on Tuesday, June 3rd at 8:00 am for a water valve repair. If you live in the surrounding neighbourhoods, you may experience little to no water, low water pressure, and/or discouloration. If you experience discouloration, run your taps on cold water for 10 minutes or until clear. Avoid using hot water until the minerals have passed through.

Below are some helpful tips to reduce the inconvenience during the water shutdown:

• Ensure that you have plenty of potable water.
• Fill bathtubs and sinks with water prior to the outage. To use your flush toilet during the outage, bucket water into the top chamber of the toilet after each use.
• If you live in the surrounding neighbourhoods, you may experience little to no water, low water pressure, and/or discouloration. If you experience discouloration, run your taps on cold water for 10 minutes or until clear. Avoid using hot water until the minerals have passed through. 

The water is expected to be back on around 3:00 pm.
