Water Disruption on Robson Rd W

The water main on Robson Road West is scheduled to be turned off on Friday, October 24th at 8:00 a.m. in order to facilitate new construction with GRD. If you live in the surrounding neighbourhoods, you may experience little to no water, low water pressure, and/or discouloration. If you experience discouloration, run your taps on cold water for 10 minutes or until clear. Avoid using hot water until the minerals have passed through. 

Below are some helpful tips to reduce the inconvenience during the water shutdown:

• Ensure that you have plenty of potable water.
• Fill bathtubs and sinks with water prior to the outage. To use your flush toilet during the outage, bucket water into the top chamber of the toilet after each use.
• If you experience discouloration, run your taps on cold water for 10 minutes or until clear. Avoid using hot water until the minerals have passed through. 

The water main is expected to be back on around 5:00 pm.
